Nathan is an award-winning editorial and advertising illustrator, comic book artist and chair of the low-residency, interdisciplinary Master of Fine Arts in Visual Narrative program at the School of Visual Arts in New York. His clients include The New York Times Newspaper and Magazine, Interview, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, Wired, ESPN Magazine, Print, Entertainment Weekly, Mother Jones, Spin, Mad Magazine, MTV Store Windows and T-shirts, Burton US Open, Instant Winner and REAL Skateboards, DC Comics, Vertigo, Dark Horse Comics, Marvel and many other publications and mediums.
Other projects and pursuits include comics, narrative illustration, gallery work, murals, and skate deck designs.
